Juntoz NFP scholarship 2025

Juntoz NFP will be giving a scholarship to a Waukegan Hispanic senior student  or graduated student pursuing a higher degree in an accredited college or university for the school year 2024-2025.  This can also be to earn a certificate for a profession. The scholarship is partially funded with sponsors and a percentage of fund raised from the "Viva La Independencia" Parade in Waukegan, IL. We are hoping to have several scholarships of $500 each available depending on funding. This scholarship is for underserved Hispanic students.

• Be a resident of Waukegan
• Be an Hispanic student
• Be a High School Senior or recent High School Graduate Class of 2025 from the bilingual program. 
• Be accepted or in the process in an accredited college or university
• Have a least 2.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0
• Submit all required documentation by deadline

• Fill out Juntoz NPF Scholarship application completely
• Send school transcripts (it can be unofficial) 
• One letter of recommendations (not from family members)
• copy of acceptance letter or email from an accredited college or university
• Submit a typed, double space essay describing your self, your challenges, and why you should be awarded the scholarship, and how you plan to assist the Latino/Hispanic Community of Waukegan, IL. (Ensayo puede ser en español)

• The funds will be paid directly to the school or university
• The student or a representative will be required to attend the award ceremony
• Students are required to provide a picture (without filter), short bio to be posted in our website and social media page.
